What Fun in Orange County!

In early October, Bonnie, Katie (Bonnie’s daughter) and I had a wonderful time at the Orange County Children’s Book Festival. We enjoyed meeting other authors, illustrators and many families. There were live shows and plenty of children’s books almost everywhere you looked. Some of Disney’s illustrators were there too.

On our way down to Orange, Ca we stopped at Pismo Beach and enjoyed a long walk along the beach. We also stopped at the small Dutch town of Solvang on our way home. It was fun to explore all the artisan’s shops and try some authentic Dutch food and baked goods.

Our trip was long but we learned a lot and had loads of fun. We were also inspired to put the finishing touches on our new Henry Mozzarella book—expected out soon! Look for more details in the next few months!
